Here's a few screen shots of what I've created for the first milestone:
(Keep in mind its early in development and pretty basic right now)

Basic Intro Screen where I have used DrawText() for content, however I will be looking to make use of graphics instead of text for this screen at a later date.

Hmmm stressful times - game titles are always a tricky thing to come up with, I mean you want to think of something short and snappy but not anything that sounds lame!

Here's a few games that I will be looking at for inspiration towards storyline, graphic style and feature implementation:

Killzone 2 - first person shooter, great sci fi based storyline

COD: Modern Warfare 2 - Wonderfully addictive war shooter

Doom - classic fast paced shooter
